Subject-Wise Difficulty Analysis

Physics: Considered the most challenging section, with questions resembling the difficulty level of JEE Advanced. Many students found it conceptually demanding, making it tough to score high.

Chemistry: A mix of Inorganic and Organic Chemistry, with several questions extending beyond the NCERT syllabus. The section was lengthy, and formula-based shortcuts were less effective this year.

Biology: Relatively easier, with questions primarily based on the NCERT textbook. Students who had thoroughly studied NCERT found this section manageable.

Additionally, an unexpected question on probability from the Mathematics section surprised many aspirants.

Student Reactions

Many candidates described the paper as tricky and time-consuming. Aspirants like Shashmit Srivastawa from Patna noted that only a few questions aligned with previous years’ patterns, emphasizing the paper’s unpredictability.

Expected Cut-Off Trends

Given the increased difficulty, especially in Physics and Chemistry, experts anticipate a lower cut-off this year. While 81,000 students scored above 600 in 2024, projections for 2025 estimate that only 15,000 to 20,000 candidates might achieve similar scores.

Exam Conduct and Security Measures

The NTA implemented strict supervision protocols to ensure the exam’s integrity. This move aims to restore trust after previous controversies and to provide a fair assessment environment for all candidates.
